    Made In U.S.A.
    This is actually more tricky than it sounds.. You want to make sure that all the ingredients inside your product are made in the U.S.A including the hemp! Many companies source their hemp from Europe & China, but bottle it inside the USA.. They then put "Made in USA" on the label.
    This can mislead the consumer to think that the hemp actually came from the USA when it did not. More importantly, sourcing hemp internationally is not recommended because when imported, it's imported as a textile (not as a food/supplement), therefore it goes through far less scrutiny. 
    Organic Ingredients
    Not only do you want all the ingredients in your CBD product to be organic, you'll want to make sure that your hemp is organically grown. This ensures the highest purity with no binders, fillers, dyes or unknown substances. Also, check to make sure that the hemp source is from either Kentucky, Colorado, or Washington. These are currently the only 3 states in the USA that are compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill. Lastly, make sure that your hemp is grown and extracted using the same farms and facilities.     Carrier Oil
    Look for a great "carrier oil," which will carry your CBD to each cell in your body. Great carrier oils include MCT oil, grapeseed oil, and olive oil. 

    If your product says "water soluble," proceed with caution..
